The third annual Sean Putman Memorial Golf Tournament will be held
on Monday, June 16, 2008 at the beautiful Five Oaks Country Club in Lebanon Tennessee.
The Sean Putman Memorial Golf Tournament is unique in that we have two events in
one. Each year, we host a 9 hole recreational round for the younger golfers
(12 and under) and a four man scramble tournament.

The Sean Putman Memorial Scholarship Fund
Proceeds benefit the Sean Putman Memorial Scholarship Fund at Cumberland University
providing educational opportunities for Wilson County high school graduates!
Sabrie Sheldon Baldwin and Meleia Ann Montgomery were awarded the very first gifts
from the Sean Putman Memorial Scholarship Fund at Cumberland University. They were
recognized just before the start of the 2007 Tee It Up For Sean Memorial Golf Tournament
held June 18, 2007 at Five Oaks Golf and Country Club in Lebanon. Pictured are:

Event Format
The junior event will be held from 8a.m. until 12 noon, lunch will be served to
all golfers from 11:30 until 12:30. The main event will begin with the shotgun start
at 1 p.m.
Each golfer (including juniors) will enjoy a complementary lunch buffet
and golf goody bag. Each participating junior also receives a special
award/prize. Prizes for the main (adult) event are awarded to each golfer in the
top 3 finishing teams for each flight. Prizes will also be awarded for longest drive
(male & female) and closest to the pin (male & female).
Main Event Fees: $125 per player ($500 per team).
Format: Flighted 4-man scramble with 1 p.m. shotgun start.
Junior Event Fees: $25 per player (12 and under) and $25 per accompanying or playing
adult.
Format: Recreational 9-hole round beginning at 8 a.m. and completed by 12 noon.
